About the Role:

Due to unprecedented growth in sales, Valley Motor Group is looking for a motivated Trainee Used Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a career in automotive sales with hands-on training and excellent earning potential. Working with an experienced team you will develop essential skills in customer service, sales, and vehicle knowledge.

We're the fastest growing Used Car dealer in Gippsland - selling over 150 used cars per month!

As a Vehicle Sales Consultant, you will support customers from the moment they enter our showroom. Connecting with them to ensure that they are provided with a seamless buying experience from start to finish. This role isn't just about selling the customer a car, but also to provide continued support after the sale to build trust and turn a one-time sale into a lasting relationship. One they’ll want to tell their friends and family about!

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiries to finalizing sales
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive buying experience for all clients
• Develop an understanding of our extensive inventory of quality used vehicles
• Support the sales team with follow-up communications and customer relations
• Contribute to the growth and success of the dealership by meeting monthly sales targets
• Collaborate with team members to create an engaging and welcoming dealership environment

• Well organized
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Follow procedures and processes
• Be able to overcome challenges and problem solve
• Basic computer skills and an ability to learn new software quickly
• Strong interest in customer service and sales, with a willingness to learn and grow in the automotive industry
• Experience is preferable but not essential in sales or customer service

This is a full-time position and includes Saturdays. You will be on a five-day rotating roster and the hours are 8.30am to 5:30pm. You will need a full Victorian drivers license.
